Raw Water Supply in Jakarta Remains Low

PT Perusahaan Air Minum (PAM) Jaya Director, Erlan Hidayat, admitted the raw water supply in Jakarta remains low. Citizens are still using underground water.

At this moment, PAM Jaya is only able to supply 18,000 liter per second. In fact, adequate supply should be 21.500 liter per second.

In the future, his side will request additional supply from Jati Luhur. Water from Jati Luhur will be accommodated in Buaran 3, East Jakarta.
